The F word

-Bismillahirrahmanirraheem-

We all have  dark pasts.

Whether we admit or not, the fact that we are human beings denies any right for us to nonchalantly claim that we are pure from our wrongs and sins.

Some part of it may not be our fault; friends, families, acquaintances may be the reasons why those memories become so bitter for us to reflect and remember.

And let us not forget to whom we recklessly put aside in the aisle of disregard everyday, belittling every piece of goodwill shown to us by HIM.

To my family, friends and acquaintances, I'll try my best to forget and forgive what had occurred between us all for the past 8 years I've become a mukallaf.

To HIM, i cannot express enough gratitude for the promise of tomorrow YOU keep giving me despite all the bad things I've done.

To myself, don't put that long face too long. When you were created human, committing faults IS your standard programming. With said default features, HE also made one thing certain;

My door to forgiveness is always open

Ask for forgiveness and give others that same privilege as well.

Only then will we ever be able to move forward.

.........................................................................

Biasa. Mediocre. Dalam bahasa kita-kita; "Eccceeh~ Beta pun BOLEH buat".

Hari pertama berlalu. Sama.

Hari kedua melabuhkan tirai. Juga.

Hari ketiga, batas menetap seorang tetamu tiba. Nothing special.

Abdullah ibn Umar dalam keadaan kecewa dalam 'misi' beliau terus berdepan dengan lelaki tersebut;

"Apakah amalan yang kau lakukan hingga Rasulullah S.A.W. mengisytiharkan engkau penghuni syurga?"

Lelaki tersebut terdiam, cuba untuk mengimbas jalur dan corak kehidupan sehariannya. Beliau menjawab mudah;

Selamat menyambut Syawal!
Teruskan momentum Ramadhan!

You're tired aren't you?

How about some rest in that comfy chair you used to slouch in?

Still no rest?

How about the one eyed ogre who always tells you great tales and wonders?

Not interested in fantasies and myths you say?

Then how about that plush bed you've always slept on?

Enough nearing the borders of death you say?

Then what do you desire o self in your forever wanting state?

What will make you silent and satisfied with the things you have and did?

See, hear and feel, is it not near what you crave?

It is near than the clothes that touch your skin or the veins that keep you awake.

You want a home that is not the home you are in.

Go back.

Return.

HE is there.

Only then will you feel at home, anytime, anywhere.
